Life Expectancy of Men and Women in the US

Compared with many other peoples, Americans do not live very long. In life expectancy, America ranks thirty-seventh. Men survive longer in most Western European nations as well as in Japan, Israel, Greece, East Germany and Australia and in some countries, some men live to much older ages than in the US and UK. Some men living today have been living for 150 years and have never been sick a day in their lives. US and UK women rank behind women in Sweden, Holland, Norway, Denmark, France, Canada and Iceland.
